Founded in 1990 and based in Sturbridge, Massachusetts, SMS is a specialist provider of metallurgical, materials and microscopy testing services. The business supports customers across highly regulated industries, with expertise in aerospace testing and the technical assurance of critical components and materials.
For Hansen Aerospace, the addition of SMS creates a particularly strong strategic fit.
Hansen's expertise in non-destructive testing and inspection is complemented by SMS's specialist metallurgical, materials and destructive testing capabilities.
